Well I figured I would give this a try. I did not get great hours, but I figure if people are crazy enough to wake up in the middle of the night to go shopping on Black Friday maybe they do the same for shopping. So I have a slot tomorrow from 4 - 5 AM We will see.

On the first day of Christmas, the ETSYKIDS team members gave to me….a Christmas event you really must see!November 28th – December 10th, join EtsyKids for 12 days of fabulous, festive fun and dreamy holiday prizes.

Here’s how to play:Each day the EtsyKids blog will contain a post showing an image that’s hidden in an item listing on a few different EtsyKids team members’ shops, along with a clue on how to find it. When a contestant finds just one of the hidden images, they send an Etsy conversation to the day’s entry collector with a link to the listing where they found it. Once their conversation is received, they’ll be entered into a drawing for an amazing EtsyKids prize. Those who find images for all 12 days are entered into the grand prize drawing!

Participants may use one of two methods to find the images:
1. Begin by looking at each of the 7,000+ EtsyKids listings, or
2. Decipher the clue to the keyword to narrow down the listings to under 100.
The clues are word association to the keyword. After you think you have the keyword, enter that word and "etsykids team" into Etsy's search, and start looking!
Example: Mary, Joseph, and Baby Jesus...........nativity
Thus, you would enter "nativity etsykids team" to narrow down the listings to hunt through. The clues start out easy, and they get harder!

Please do not post the answers anywhere - all answers will be revealed at the end of the game.
If you don't jump into the game until after it's started, no problem! You can still enter that day's drawing, as well as the remaining days, then go back and find the previous days to enter the grand prize drawing.The Etsykids blog will also let contestants know who to contact to enter, as well as the prize(s) that will be awarded that day. The number of prizes will increase each day and the winners will be selected at random.

***Contestants can enter once each day.Within 24 hours of winning, the lucky winners will be contacted via Etsy Conversation, and MUST contact (via Etsy Conversation) the prize donor with their mailing address within 2 days of being contacted. Well after my cornucopia hair clip I was told I just have to make a cornucopia for the felt play food too. Well I did!

I think it came out very well! We are using it as a center piece on our dinning room table and of course as a toy too. Right now it is being used as a barbie dress! My daughter just had to have a hair clips for Thanksgiving. So we created one. A cornucopia with lots of fruits and veggies in it made from felt. I think it came out so cute and she is just tickled pink about it. She will wear it today to school. But now my little one of course wants one too so I will need to make her one also. I think she will look oh so cute in a turkey hair clip!

It is kind of late, but I think I will post it in my shop.

Is anyone else scared that the holidays are coming? I just cleaned my daughters room yesterday and I can't imagine more toys from Chirstmas going in there. We are going to have to build a toy addition to our house. And of course on Santas list is a 3 story high Barbie house. That is a small item, where is that going to go! I wonder if Santa is crazy enough to give it???

I was able though to have my oldest go through some of her toys and give some away to children who have non. I am very proud of her for giving them up so easy to someone in need. I thought it would be a fight, but once I told her there were little boys and girls without many toys she started a bag to give to them.

Well I have not posted in a week or so. I have been so busy with Chirstmas orders of felt play food.
I am excited to tell you I have added some oh so cute Felt hair clips. My favorite is my Very Hungry Caterpillar and Leaf Hair Clip. The leaf has such a cute nibble hole from the caterpillar.

My First Wholesale Order

I finished my wholesale order. My enitre felt food collection and 40 felt hair clips.

By the way I found a new love! Felt hair clips! They are so fun to do and you can do and create so much with them. I will now be addig felt hair clips to my shop soon.

Ok back to the order I only had a week to do it. Normally it takes be 2 to finish my collection never mind the clips too. But I did it and I think everything came out great. I hope this order happens again!!

It is such a great feeling knowing someone lieks your items so much that they want to sell it. I wish the shop was in my area so I could sneak in and see my items on display!!!

First Blog Ever

Well this is my first blog. So hang in there if you are reading this I will get better.

I make felt play food and right now I have a whole collection order. So of course my sewing machine stopped working today! I spent the afternoon taking my machine apart and fixing it. So I got nothing done at all. I finally got it to work again so back tomorrow I go sewing so I can have this order done and shipped.
